Increasing workforce productivity while controlling labour costs is a challenge for any distributor. Lipari Foods did it by integrating key timekeeping data from its Kronos solution with delivery data from their transportation management system. With this information, they developed performance standards for their delivery drivers and performance-based incentive pay plans. Less than a year later, they had increased workforce productivity to levels equivalent to 8-10% of total payroll.
